Radiosurgery Unit, EickTron 4.0
The EickTron 4.0 is a high-frequency radiosurgery unit that can be used in many ways in veterinary medicine. The working frequency is 600 KHz – 4.0 MHz and the output can be easily regulated using the foot pedal or hand switch. The digital display of the power output and the microprocessor-controlled monitoring of the operating functions guarantee absolute reliability and simple operation. The connection of the neutral electrode is constantly monitored for safety.
Radiosurgery units represent the minimally invasive form of electrosurgery, as the radio frequency generators work with significantly higher frequencies – here up to 4.0 MHz! Thanks to the high frequency, fewer watts can be used, which means that there is far less thermal damage to the surrounding tissue.
