VOLK Super 66 lens - Aspherical special magnifying glass

The aspherical surface corrects aberrations present in simpler, spherical lenses, helping to improve the field of view for diagnosis. Volk double aspherical magnifying glasses provide linear image magnification for better overall imaging.

Diopter performance

• Ophthalmoscopy loupes with higher diopter power provide a smaller field of view and greater magnification, providing the best performance on animals with small pupils.
• Ophthalmoscopy loupes with a lower diopter power have a larger field of view and lower magnification and are therefore well suited for animals with larger pupils.

Magnifying glass direction

• Double aspherical loupes are not always symmetrical. Depending on which side of the magnifying glass you look through, a magnifying glass with asymmetrical aspheres produces different optical results. The people “V” is like an arrow and points to the patient. Some magnifying glasses have a silver edge on one side, this should always be facing the patient.
